Survivor: Gabon - CBS changes Survivor Premier date 1 more time
It’s no secret Survivor: Gabon fans have been waiting on pins and needles for this Jeff Probst series to debut. CBS has been quietly teasing us for a couple of months now, about the new Survivor 17 season coming to us this fall.
Just a few days ago, CBS announced they were pushing the Survivor: Gabon premier to Sept. 25th. We will see episode 1 and 2 premiering together that evening, with two cast members being voted out; before we can even remember their names.
In all, eighteen cast members will be fighting off lions and tigers and bears; Oh, my! Jeff Probst tells us that the cast will divide into two opposing groups. One group has heart and the other group has none.
Survivor: Gabon has eighteen players that range in ages from 22-61. Four of these castaways are old enough to be grandparents. This 17th installment of the Survivor series will attract viewers of all ages. Finally, a reality show the entire family can watch and enjoy together in harmony!
CBS also let it out of the bag, there will not be any romance/showmance going on this season. The players will be too busy trying to save their own skins, for any fooling around to take place.
You can get a taste of who the cast members of Survivor: Gabon are in this clip.
Probst has stated, Survivor: Gabon will be the first of his 17 series to be shot in HD. The jungles of Gabon comes alive!
Getting supplies into this remote region of Africa was no easy task. Much of Gabon was untamed and wild, until Jeff Probst and crew came in and civilized the entire region with his brand of HD, reality TV. Will Gabon ever be the same again?
